Harry Reid International Airport Terminal 3 Security Door System Installation
Project Duration: September 2, 2025 – April 30, 2026
This project is located at Harry Reid International Airport, Terminal 3 (Level 2). The work involved installing a new two-lane security door system in a corridor adjacent to the existing security screening area.
The scope included removal of existing finishes, partitions, and equipment, followed by installation of new finishes, walls, and a Dormakaba automated security door system.
The system consists of two lanes, each enclosed within a dedicated security tunnel approximately 21 feet 8 inches in length. Each tunnel is equipped with two full-height automatic doors and two half-height swing gates per lane, along with integrated camera sensors for people and object detection.
The doors are designed to allow passengers to exit from the secure (airside) area to the non-secure (landside) area while preventing entry in the opposite direction. Similar systems are deployed throughout the airport to maintain safe, one-way passenger flow.
