McCarran International Airport – Inline Baggage – Two Story Addition

Security is an important part of the McCarran and TSA Operation. The Inline Baggage project consisted of creating a new building shell to house the TSA control room for baggage screening. The ground level of this building is approximately 550 sq. ft. and enclosed by concrete block to house mechanical equipment. The second floor is approximately 3,300 square feet, and is supported by a steel frame system. Enclosure consists of insulated metal panels, rigid roof insulation, and membrane roofing. Finishes included suspended acoustical ceiling and raised computer floor.
