City of Las Vegas – Traffic Signal Repair Shop
The Traffic Signal Repair Shop is the main facility that controls the traffic on the Las Vegas city streets. Within the facility, the City of Las Vegas manages the traffic signal systems, maintenance, repair, fixtures, and testing of equipment. Originally housed in an old fire station, this project required the total demolition and rebuild of the facility. It included constructing a new 7,500 sq. ft. building with a TPO roofing system over metal decking and steel joists. The walls were colored CMU and stucco, EIFS, anodized aluminum windows and doors with internal metal stud/gypsum wall system. Included were acoustical ceilings, hard lid soffits with appropriate lighting, fire sprinklers and control systems. Site work included vehicle parking, access drives, patio, loading area and all utility work.
