The Renea A. Parker Golf Classic: Driving Change in Our Community Since 2000
The Renea A. Parker Charity Golf Tournament, held on April 19, 2025, at Arroyo Golf Club, was a vibrant celebration of community, generosity, and fun on the fairway. With 72 players and the incredible support of 29 sponsors, the event raised $32,000 for the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY), an organization working to end youth homelessness in Southern Nevada.
Golfers enjoyed breakfast, a round of golf, a barbecue lunch, beverages, swag bags, and plenty of raffle excitement. From long drives to big-hearted giving, the energy was high and the spirit of generosity even higher. Special thanks to our Title Sponsors Cobblestone Construction, Parker Nelson & Associates, Helix Electric, Leavitt Group, and CBI Constructors Bonding Inc. We also thank Earth Resource Group (ERG) for sponsoring the Longest Drive and supporting as a Hole Sponsor, along with all of our amazing partners who helped make the day a success.
The tournament, first held 25 years ago in honor of Renea A. Parker, sister to Benden and Teddy Parker, began as a way to support the Renea A. Parker Scholarship Fund, now fully endowed at Converse University in South Carolina. This annual event has grown into a beloved tradition supporting local causes, including past beneficiaries like Rainbow Dreams Academy and, this year, NPHY.
We are truly grateful to everyone who participated, donated, and helped create another memorable day. Your generosity continues to make a lasting difference in the Las Vegas community.
