Company History
Benchmark Contracting, Inc. dba Cobblestone Construction in Las Vegas, NV, was established in December, 1998. Our logo, the Cobblestone Castle, and our name reflects the principles, practices and values that we employ in every aspect of how we do business. Our “Benchmark”, or standard point of reference for our performance is derived from the values ingrained and the lessons learned by Mr. Benden Parker, our founder, at his Alma mater, The Citadel. Honesty and integrity define the ways in which we do business, and exemplify the standards of excellence we strive to maintain. Our performance consistently reflects our vision, mission and values, which we continually measure against our Benchmark.
Our experience began in 1998 with projects including all types of residential construction, renovations, additions and new construction. In 2002, we moved into the commercial construction side of our business, completing tenant improvements (TI), renovations, new construction and public works projects.
By 2008, Benchmark Contracting, Inc. moved into Design/Build Construction, including ground up construction, tenant improvement, and renovations. Representative projects during this point in our history included Creech AFB Wing Headquarters, Nellis AFB Child Development Center, Fort Huachuca Fire Rescue Station, and Davis-Monthan AFB Parts Store.
Today, Benchmark Contracting, Inc. is a dynamic, general contracting firm with expertise in design/build, ground up construction, tenant improvements, and comprehensive rehabilitations/renovations in industrial, commercial and residential construction for both the public and private markets. With a team representing more than 150 years of building experience, we continue to grow and expand our portfolio of noteworthy projects and take pride in each and every endeavor.
